In a nutshell: Ninety four primary schools in the West Midlands are taking part in FoodNet’s ‘Cooking with Kids’ scheme. Delivered by trained food health advisors, the cooking courses allow children and parents the opportunity to gain hands-on cooking skills, try new foods and explore the food that they eat. The scheme has received praise from the Department of Health.
