Parental influence on children’s early eating and obesity risk

In a nutshell: The authors argue that rather than beginning obesity prevention strategies when children are school aged or adolescent, they should be introduced in the first years of life when parents have the most influence over the child’s experiences and environment. The paper also reviews the extent to which environmental factors influence future obesity risk.
