In a nutshell: An observational study which explored the hypothesis that asked whether more physical activity in school time was compensated for by less physical activity at other times.  The study found that increased physical activity at one time would indeed be compensated with lower physical activity levels at another. The authors proposed that this may have a significant impact upon the success of physical activity programmes aimed at tackling child obesity.
